The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) has alerted the Irish public, particularly parents, to a nationwide recall of a popular children's toy amid serious choking fears.

A safety issue has been identified with 4 Pack Fidget Spinners for Babies sold on Amazon.

The product presents a risk of choking. The toy has protruding parts. A small child may put it in the mouth and choke.

The brand is DXPETA. The model is XPZZL4LXXUK-LZWUK. The batch number is unknown. The bar code is X002BY8S1T. The ASIN is B0FCSK6WLR.

The product was sold online through Amazon. There are approximately 5 affected products in the Republic of Ireland.
