Nenagh Christmas Tractor Run will return this December
The always popular Nenagh Christmas Tractor Run will return this year, bringing a festive display of illuminated tractors across North Tipperary on Saturday, December 19, while raising funds for Billy Goulding and Nenagh Special Summer Camp.
Organised by Christmas Tractors Nenagh, the run will depart from Barack Obama Plaza in Moneygall at 5pm, with festivities kicking off at the Plaza from 3pm.
From there, the convoy will travel through Toomevara at approximately 6pm before arriving in Nenagh at 7pm.
Albert Purcell of Christmas Tractors Nenagh said the organisers were looking forward to another memorable Christmas event:
“This is all about bringing people together at Christmas and doing something positive for two very deserving causes. We are looking forward to seeing the tractors lit up and getting as many people as possible involved.
“The tractor run and the holiday raffle are great ways for people to support the fundraising effort, and we hope the local community will get behind both.”
Nenagh Special Summer Camp is a non-profit organisation that provides summer camp activities for children and young adults with additional and special needs. Guided by its motto, “Help Our Children Play”, the camp offers recreational activities and opportunities for social interaction in a supportive setting. Find out more at nenaghspecialsummercamp.ie.
The second beneficiary is Billy Goulding, whose recovery journey has been shared through the Facebook community page Billy’s Recovery Story. The tractor run will help raise additional funds to support Billy's recovery.
As part of the fundraising campaign, organisers have launched a raffle for a €5,000 dream holiday of the winner’s choice. Tickets cost €10 and are available through the iDonate fundraising platform, with proceeds supporting both beneficiaries.
Tickets can be purchased online here.
