This blistering two-hander boils theatre down to its most essential elements. After years in prison and subsequent hardships, Ray has a new identity and has made a new life for himself, thinking that he cannot be found. Una has thought of nothing else. Upon seeing a photo of Ray in a magazine, she has arrived unannounced at his office.
Strands of Friendship Exhibition
Running until Tuesday, May 31. Artist Josephine Geaney, taught a series of four workshops using the mediums of cold wax and paint, the results of which can be seen in this visual art exhibition for the 2022 Bealtaine Festival for the month of May. The exhibition celebrates the resilience, strength and contributions which women make to a community.
POP Art! Online Talk with Carol O'Neille
This online art talk on Tuesday May 24, at 8pm, will celebrate an art movement that began in the 1950’s and flourished in the ’60’s.
Artists rebelled against traditional forms of art and drew inspiration from everyday objects like soup cans, comic strips and Hollywood icons. Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Pauline Boty, Richard Hamilton and more are celebrated in this art talk about the movement that is now one the most recognisable art forms of today.
