Mixed fortunes for Tipperary schools with two still standing in the Harty cup quarter finals

The TUS Dr. Harty Cup Under 19 A Hurling Preliminary Quarter-Finals were played out to large crowds across the province and there were mixed results for Tipperary schools. 

Thurles CBS will join Cashel Community School in the knockout stages in January while Nenagh CBS and Our Lady's bowed out today.

The full results and information about the quarter final draw is below. 

St. Flannans College Ennis 0-14 John The Baptist Community School 1-7 
De La Salle College Waterford 0-15 Nenagh C.B.S. 0-12 
Thurles C.B.S. 1-21 Our Ladys Templemore 1-6 
Gaelcholáiste Mhuire AG 0-22 Blackwater Community School Lismore 3-10 (after extra time) 

The draw for the Quarter-Finals will take place next week alongside the TUS Corn Uí Mhuirí Under 19 A Football Quarter-Final draw.


Knockout Fixture Dates

Preliminary Quarter-Finals – December 4th
Quarter-Finals – January 8th
Semi-Finals – January 18th
Final – February 1st
