World darts champion and world number one Michael Smith to tour Ireland as dates announced

The world's number one darts player Michael Smith is coming to tour Ireland this December ahead of his defence of the PDC World Darts Championship.

The Englishman, nicknamed "Bully Boy", defeated Michael van Gerwen to win his first ever first-ever world title at the start of January.

Smith will take to 11 venues around Ireland for a night at the darts from the start of December. See the exhibition dates below:

December 1st - TF Royal Hotel & Theatre, Castlebar, Mayo.

December 2nd - O'Callaghans upstairs lounge, Mohill, Leitrim

December 3rd - Paddy Blues, Gorey, Wexford.

December 4th - The Goalpost Pub, Tullamore, Offaly.

December 5th - Newtown Inn and Sports Bar, Maynooth, Kildare

December 6th - The Tower Hotel, Waterford.

December 7th - O'Donoghue's Lounge, Edenderry, Offaly.

December 8th - Keanes Lounge, Oranmore, Galway.

December 9th - The Redcow Hotel, Dublin.

December 10th - Coppers Nightclub, Portlaoise, Laois.

December 11th - Cavan Crystal Hotel, Cavan. (also featuring William O'Connor, Devon Petersen, Ricky Evans and Kevin Painter)
