Rory McIlroy - 6/1 outright to win

The Northern Irishman is coming to Augusta in a rich vein of form looking to complete the career grand slam by taking the tournament that has alluded him his whole career. In the last tournaments that Rory has played, he came T5th in the Texas Children's Houstan open last month and a couple of weeks before that it went all the way to the play-offs with JJ Spaun to take home The Players Championship and a cool $4.5 million.
He looks to join the exclusive club of golfers to complete a career Grand Slam (Winning the 4 major titles in golf, The Masters, The US Open, The Open, and The PGA Championship). If Rory can get the monkey off his back and take home the green jacket this coming weekend he will join the likes of Jack Nicklaus, Tiger Woods, Ben Hogan, Gary Player, and Gene Sarazen to be the only golfers to complete this feat.
It would take a brave person to back against the four-time major winner but Augusta hasn't always been the happiest of hunting grounds for County Down man.
Shane Lowry - 33/1 outright to win

Offaly man Shane Lowry is looking to double his major title tally coming into Augusta and at a price of 33/1, he could be a popular bet for Irish fans tuning into the tournament. Lowry is coming into the Masters with a decent run of form, his last outing at the Valspar Championship saw Lowry finish in a very respectable T8 and a run at The Players Championship saw him finish T20. Lowry's best result of the 2025 came in the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am saw him miss out to his Irish compatriot, McIlroy by just 2 strokes to win the tournament. Lowry pocketed a nice consolation prize of $2,160,000 despite not winning the tournament.
Lowry is looking to improve on his best Masters finish of T3 and if he manages to do that he will be right in the hunt to take home the most prestigious prize that professional golf has to offer.
The Favourites:
Looking then to the other golfers that are tipped to have a good weekend around Augusta National, unsurprisingly world number 1 and two-time Masters Champion, Scottie Scheffler leads the book-makers favourites to make it three titles for the man in red hot form, with a price of 5/1, just ahead of Rory as second favourite.
Following those two is 2023 champion Jon Rahm, now on the Liv Tour is looking to make it back to the pinnacle of PGA golf, who has finished inside the top 10 in all the Liv Golf events so far this year.
Some big names following with the likes of Colin Morikawa at 15/1, Ludvig Åberg and Bryson DeChambeau can't be separated at 17/1 and last year's Open champion Xander Schauffele at 19/1.
Outsiders:
We have already mentioned Shane Lowry as a potential outsider a 33/1 price for him to win this weekend, but looking through the field there are some potentially nice prices.
Liv man, Joaquin Niemann, the 25 year-old Chilean who has won 2 of the 5 Liv Golf tournaments and is in red-hot form is currently at 25/1 this weekend.
Min Woo Lee, a fan-favourite, who is lovingly nicknamed 'The Chef' is fresh off his first PGA Tour win of his career at the Texas Children's Houston Open could be of interest at 50/1 outsider, who looking to be the first Australian since Adam Scott's heroics in 2013 to be a Masters Champion.
Tee Times
Rory McIlroy will get his campaign underway at 18:12 and he will be joined by two favoured youngsters in Ludvig Åberg, and Akshay Bhatia.
The two Irishmen are back to back on day one as Shane Lowry will get underway alongside former Masters Champion Hideki Matsuyama, and Bryson DeChambeau at 18:23.
