Meath man Keane Barry will be the first player from the south to take to the Alexandra Palace stage when he comes up against South African Grant Sampson today.

The 20-year-old will aim to get through his first round clash around 8pm tonight - live coverage on Sky Sports Darts from 6pm.

Tomorrow (Friday) sees Limerick native William O'Connor begin his tournament against talented 18-year-old darts player Beau Greaves at 8pm.
