Limerick Races unveil its special summer schedule

Limerick’s Greenmount Park has unveiled its Summer Programme for 2023!

In all, the Patrickswell venue will stage eight wonderful meetings across April, May, June and July. 

“We are bursting for the off,” enthused Limerick General Manager Tom Rudd ahead of the next race meeting which is taking place on Saturday 22nd April. 

“Racing at Limerick in the Summer go hand in hand, and always have. We have put in place what are special days’ racing, from our BBQ Evenings, incredible entertainment, to Ladies Day.  We are looking forward to welcoming groups of friends, work  colleagues and families to Limerick Races.”

At the heart of Limerick’s Summer Programme is Ladies Day on Saturday afternoon, June 24th.

Local lady Fiona Hayes owner of FH Style has been booked to co-ordinate the day. Fiona is a Freelance Commercial, Retail & TV Stylist and is a regular contributor on the RTE Today show.

“Personally, I love a day out at the races and what a fantastic amenity in Limerick Racecourse that we have on our doorstep,” commented Fiona. “I’ve been going to the races at Limerick since I was a young girl with my family. I am very excited about Ladies Day and delighted to be part of the event”

Social media fashion influencer Emily O’Donoghue from @fashionablyfortyish” has been announced as the celebrity fashion judge for Ladies Day!

Clionas Foundation Annual Race Day is scheduled to take place on Thursday May 25th and Regeneron Family Raceday has been announced for Friday May 26th, while there are four further Twilight outings across June and July with packages available from only €29p/p. There will be live entertainment after racing on all occasions.
