The 50 Plus Show takes place at the Greenhills Hotel on November 5 and 6
The 50 Plus Show, Ireland’s lifestyle event for people 50 and over is returning to the Greenhills Hotel Limerick on November 5 and 6 with over 60 demonstrations, displays and exhibits.
Among this year’s headline attractions will be popular former RTÉ Sport and Sunday Game presenter Michael Lyster who will be interviewing some well known Limerick personalities.
Limerick native and consumer rights & property expert Sinead Ryan, known to many from her columns in the Irish Independent and the Home Show on Newstalk will be speaking and will be available to answer questions on areas such as inheritance, the Fair Deal Scheme and recent changes in the rules to renting out properties.
And for those wishing to improve their digital skills – including the internet, email and mobile devices – Vodafone Hi Digital will be on hand to provide easy-to-follow advice.
Other highlights of the show’s programme include proven attractions such as cookery demonstrations, keep fit lessons, personal finance advice, tax, pensions, entitlements and legal advice from experts.
For the more creative-inclined there will be five different craft workshops each day where visitors can try their hand at painting or crocheting and take home their work with them – all for FREE.
And for collectors of stamps, coins and banknotes international specialist Mike Kelly will be on hand to give valuations and pay for your collections.
Other areas featured will be stands providing information on health, home and abroad holidays, join a club or society, recruitment, volunteering, home energy, home security and mobility aids.

The 50 Plus Show takes place at the Greenhills Hotel from 10am until 4pm on Tuesday, November 5 and Wednesday, November 6.
