A waterside festival kicks off in North Tipperary this weekend

Féile Brian Ború will return to the waterside towns of Ballina-Killaloe this weekend from July 3 to July 7 and will be offering a wide range of activities.

The festivities will kick off with a Guided Historical Walk with Killaloe Heritage tours starting at 7.30pm on Wednesday evening from outside the Killaloe Tourist Office on The Bridge.

A weekend of Viking festivities will kick off on Friday night with a thrilling raid on the pubs in Ballina and Killaloe. Watch out for these Norse invaders as they bring their unique brand of entertainment and camaraderie to our local establishment.

On Saturday night, join the Vikings for a spectacular torch-lit parade through the village of Ballina. This fiery procession will culminate in a breathtaking fireworks display, lighting up the night sky in true Viking fashion.
