Nenagh Arts Centre
Nenagh Youth Drama Festival occurs this Sunday, 16 March at 3pm in Nenagh Arts Centre.
The Nenagh Youth Drama Festival is a celebration of the hard work put in by young members of NYT during their ‘Introduction to Youth Theatre Programme.’ It is a taster of what is to come from the members. This is THEIR festival and they were the driving force behind all the decisions made. Since September, they’ve been exploring various aspects of theatre and drama in a fun and open environment. It’s tough to capture all the growth and progress in a simple stage show, because what stands out is the strong bonds that formed among the members. They’re a group comfortable making theatre together, a group that is always up for a challenge, who are unafraid to take risks, but most importantly they’re a group that are supportive of each other. This is just the beginning of their journey with NYT.
The festival is directed by Calvin Magee and Assistant Director Gerry Ball.
The duration of the festival is an hour long and admission is €5.
