HUGE crowds gathered on the streets of Nenagh today as Shane MacGowan's funeral took place St Mary of the Rosary Church in Nenagh this afternoon.
The singer passed away on Friday, November 30 and Johnny Depp, Imelda May and other famous faces were among the congregation at the funeral.
President Michael D Higgins also attended the signers funeral and was seen embracing and comforting MacGowan's partner Victoria Mary Clarke before entering the church.
