Shane Lowry was in fine form on and off the course on the first day of the Ryder Cup this morning as he won a point for Europe with foursome playing partner Sebb Straka.
The Offaly man was seen pumping up the crowd after winning the point as Europe took a 4-0 lead in the first session of the competition in Rome.
Earlier, Lowry watched as European teammate Viktor Hovland chipped in to win a major hole for Europe, and yet again, Shane was fist-pumping and firing up the crowd.

Journalist John Duggan was one of the fans to react to the clips and he even suggested a new career for Lowry after his golfing days are over.
He said: "Shane Lowry should manage a GAA team when he wraps up golf. Visceral passion."
