1. Christmas lights in Clonmel's town centre won't be as good as last year
A Tipperary County Council manager has said the Christmas lights in Clonmel will not be as good this year.
The issue is around escalating costs and funding.
2. Classroom space issues at Golden National School raised in the Seanad
Senator Garret Ahearn raised issues at Golden National School in the Seanad this week.
He told the house that half the school's classes were being taught in the local community centre.
He is asking the Department of Education to prioritise the school for an upgrade.
3. Tipperary village plans a conservation area to help protect the honey bee
Tipperary beekeepers met this week in Cappawhite.
The hope is to establish a conservation area for the native honey bee.
4. Carrick-on-Suir student wins second prize in European Lions Youth Ambassador final in Croatia
A student Kendra Watson from Carrick on Suir, won second prize in the European Lions Youth ambassador final.
Her sensory garden plan is to be put into action next summer.
5. Tipperary TD confirms his inclusion on the Russian travel ban list
Tipperary TD Jackie Cahill has said he is on the Russian travel ban list.
In a statement today, the deputy said it would not dampen his support for the people of Ukraine.
