This is the second year of the Teagasc FBD Environmental Sustainability Awards which recognise the efforts of farmers who produce very high quality food, but also take all the measures that are needed in terms of environmental sustainability.
They are hoping to inspire other farmers to take meaningful action in terms of reducing gaseous emissions, improving water quality, improving biodiversity, soil health, and increasing carbon sequestration to ensure a sustainable future for our agri food sector.
