The Tipperary Supporters Club has released a special fireside chat featuring three of the county’s most iconic All-Ireland–winning captains.
Recorded in Gleeson’s Pub in Thurles, the conversation sees Ronan Quirke sit down with Tommy Dunne, Brendan Maher and Séamus Callanan, Tipperary’s all-time leading goalscorer. Between them, the trio have led Tipp on some of the biggest days in the county’s hurling history.
The relaxed but revealing chat delves into life in the blue and gold, from unforgettable All-Ireland triumphs to the unseen demands of leadership at the highest level. Untold stories, big-match memories and honest reflections on what it takes to captain Tipperary are all shared as the three men look back on their journeys.
The episode is produced by the Tipperary Supporters Club, which is celebrating 40 years of backing Tipperary hurling. Founded in 1986, the volunteer-run organisation has played a vital role in supporting the training and preparation of the county’s senior hurlers, with members across Tipperary and far beyond.
This fireside chat offers Tipp supporters a rare opportunity to hear directly from three men who carried the jersey on the biggest stages and helped shape modern Tipperary hurling.
