Fuel prices may be starting to fall, but for many drivers in Thurles, the pressure is far from over.

After weeks of sharp increases driven by global instability, the Government has stepped in with temporary tax cuts on petrol and diesel.

While that’s brought some relief at the pumps, prices remain significantly higher than just a few weeks ago — and not everyone is feeling the benefit yet.

On Wednesday morning, we were out on the streets of Thurles to hear directly from motorists about how rising fuel costs are impacting their daily lives.
