RIP: Tipperary deaths and funeral details, January 23

Sr. De Paul Mary Maher

Sr. De Paul (Mary) Maher, Convent of Mercy, Beaumount House, Derby, England and formerly of Gragaugh, Ballingarry, Thurles, Co. Tipperary. 13th December 2024. Predeceased by her parents, her brothers Ned and Paddy, sisters Nancy, Kitty, Joan and Nellie. Sr. De Paul will be sadly missed by her brother Tom (Killenaule), her Sisters of Mercy Community, sisters in law Susan and Mairead, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

 

Rest in Peace

 

Her Funeral Mass took place on Friday 10th January 2025 at the Cathedral of St. Mary and St. Helen, Brentwood, Essex, followed by burial in Woodman Road Cemetery.

Mass will be offered in the Church of the Assumption Ballingarry on Saturday 25th January 2025 at 7 pm.

Marie Quirke Fairbairn

The death has occurred of Marie Quirke Fairbairn, The Old Mill, Ratoath, Co. Meath and late of Ayle, Oola, Co. Tipperary. 21st January 2025. Suddenly, at home. Beloved wife and best friend of Alan, beloved mother of Dearbhla and Tiernan and daughter of the late Kitty and Martin Quirke. Marie will be sadly missed by her family, brothers Dick and Tony, sisters-in-law Su, Jane, Mary Ita, Jennifer and Amanda, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

 

MAY SHE REST IN PEACE.

 

Reposing at Mc Entaggart’s Funeral Home, Ratoath (A85 DW27) from 5pm until 8pm on Sunday. Funeral Mass on Monday at 11am in the Holy Trinity Church, Ratoath followed by cremation in Dardistown crematorium at 1pm. Those unable to attend can follow Marie’s Funeral Mass and cremation on the links below. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu to the Simon Community

Catherine (Kitty) Ryan
(née Nugent)

Catherine (Kitty) passed away peacefully at her home in her 97th year. Predeceased by her husband Michael, infant son Patrick, grandson David and by her brothers and sisters. Deeply regretted by her sons Con, Michael, Brendan, Tom and Liam, daughters Noreen, Catherine and Elizabeth, sister Nora (Boston), son in law, daughters in law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family, neighbours and friends.

 

May She Rest In Peace.

 

Reception of Kitty's remains into St. Mary's Church, Cahir on Friday evening at 6.30pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday morning at 11am with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
