The libary is currently closed in Roscrea and will remain so for upgrade works until early February.
The facility, which is used by many in the town, is closed from Friday, January 17th until Tuesday, February 4th next.
This closure is in place to facilitate refurbishment works on the library and to ensure that it remains up to the required standard. In some respects this will be ‘a makeover’ for the library.
Those that use the library are asked to note that ‘My Open Library’ access will be suspended during the refurbishments. Loans can be renewed and books still reserved by accessing the Oline Account.
Those who use the library can however use other facilities in other towns during this time. The libary members are reminded by staff that they can use their library membership in any library across Tipperary or indeed, such is the network, anywhere else in the country.
This extends to books also, meaning that books can be returned to any library anywhere in the country. The public PC’s can be accessed by members at this time ensuring disruptions are kept to a minimum.
